BACK IN THE STUDIO
The week of Aug 12-15, Quintessence was back in the Upper Room Studios in Toronto working on the beginnings of a CD album.

With the band officially changing its base from Berrien Springs to Toronto, Quintessence hopes to take full advantage of the opportunities awarded to them during Bandsearch 2001 last November.

QUINTESSENCE PLACES 2ND AT FINALS!
November 3 saw Quintessence head to Toronto for the Bandsearch 2001 finals held at Canada Christian College in the Upper Room studios. Many bands participated and the event was well attended. In the end, 5 winners were selected with Quintessence garnering 2nd place overall. They were awarded with 20 hours of studio recording time.


IN THE STUDIO...
The week of August 12-19, 2002 was a busy yet enjoyable week for the band. Brad, Ben, Mike and Beverly headed into the Upper Room Studios at Canada Christian College to begin their 20 hours of recording time that they won in 2001.
